Every VelmiGood piece starts as a flat sheet of clear acrylic and ends as an object with its own outline. Here is what happens in between, step by step.
1. The artwork is prepared for its shape
We start from the design you chose, or the artwork you sent. The outline is traced around the artwork with a small clear margin, so thin details such as whiskers or stems stay strong after cutting. If the design supports a name, the text is placed into the artwork at this stage, exactly as you typed it.
2. UV printing on 3 mm cast acrylic
The design is printed directly onto the acrylic with UV-cured inks. UV printing bonds the ink to the surface, which is why the colours stay sharp and do not peel, and why the piece is waterproof. We print a white layer behind the artwork so colours stay bright against the clear acrylic.

3. Laser cutting along the outline
A laser follows the traced outline and cuts the piece free from the sheet. The heat of the laser leaves the edge clear and smooth, so there is no white border and no rough edge to sand. Ornaments and keychains get their hole in the same pass; standees and night lights get a slot for their base.
4. Checking, packing, shipping
Each piece is checked for print quality and clean edges, then packed flat with a protective film and shipped with tracking. Making takes 2–4 business days; delivery is 7–15 days in the United States.
Why we make it this way
Printing after you order means nothing sits in a warehouse and every piece can be a different shape. It also means we can add a name, or cut your own artwork, without a minimum order. If you have a design in mind, send it to us and we will check the outline and send a quote.
